Hate Crime Forum in Richmond upon Thames

EMAG is a member of ‘Stop Hate in Richmond’ which is a forum which increases awareness of Hate Crime. It is a network of agencies both statutory and non-statutory that work together with the Police, to identify actions to eliminate and reduce Hate Crime and to works towards improving support to victims in Richmond Borough. We are planning a Hate Crime event in Richmond Borough on Wednesday 4th October, it will be from 10-3.45pm

It will be serious day with a broad spectrum of Hate Crime i.e. race, religion, disability, sex, gender being discussed. There will be interactive exercises and the audience will include the Police, Council Officers, Fire Brigade, other statutory agencies, Social Landlords,  and other third sector agencies that provide support to hate crime victims.

The Police Borough Commander of Richmond, Parm Sandhu will open the event and we will have 2 other professional presenters and expect 100 people to participate.
